McCullough Funeral HomePatricia K. Thomas passed away peacefully, in the home of her daughter, on March 2, 2026. She was a military wife, homemaker, manager, banker, and golfer. She was the third of three children born and raised in Raton, New Mexico. She traveled the world with the love of her life, Wayne Thomas, who preceded her in death.
She was an avid golfer and even the winner of at least one pro-am tournament. She and her husband of 56 years enjoyed traveling in their motorhome, playing golf, rating courses, and making many friends. Upon their retirement from the military, they settled in Warner Robins, where they had been stationed previously, and made many longtime friends. Pat was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith, serving in the church as a lay minister for many years. Jesus had been a special part of her life- all of her life. From many surgeries as a child, to losing her hearing on one side in her thirties, to other medical challenges and issues, she relied on Him fully.
She is survived by her three children, Patti Shivener (Ted), Shelley Reagin (Chuck), Matthew Thomas; five grandchildren, Simon Mintz, Jessie Noda (Car), Justin Mintz and Quinton and Tyler Thomas; and two great grandchildren, Lucas and Beau.
She leaves a legacy of a hard working, faithful life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A rosary will be said on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, with a memorial gathering following until 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Pat will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
