Patricia Ann Vercouteren, 73, of Oostburg, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 7, 2024, at her home after a long journey with diabetes that took a toll on her over the past 35 years.
Pat was born on March 30, 1951, to Stanley and Betty (Mac Williams) Pantel in Sheboygan. Pat was united in marriage to Robert Vercouteren on June 26, 1971, in Sheboygan. Together, they had two children, Stanley and Brenda.
Pat was a member of Bethel OPC in Oostburg and was a part of Women of the Word. She was always supportive of her family, especially children and grandchildren. She didn’t understand football, but never missed any of Stanley’s games. Family was the most important thing to her, and she loved being a grandma. Over the years, Pat was Bob’s helping hand with farming and everything else and always stood by his side.
Pat is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bob; children, Brenda (Patrick) Miron, Stanley Vercouteren; grandchildren, LCpl Cody Miron and Austin Miron; sister, Sandra Wolfert; brother, David Pantel; brothers-in-law, Pete Vercouteren and Karl (Jean) Vercouteren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Govert and Esther Vercouteren; sister; Deborah Pantel; brothers-in-law, Richard Wolfert; and sister-in-law, Barb Vercouteren.
A memorial service for Pat will be held at Bethel OPC on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 12:00pm. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may greet the family at church from 9:30am until the time of service.
Memorials are appreciated in Pat’s name to Bethel OPC and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Pat’s family would like to extend a special thank you to staff at St. Vincent Hospital, Morningside, Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, and church family at Bethel OPC.
