Patricia Wade Obituary
1940 - 2026
Midvale, Ut - Patricia Louise Wade (McGee), age 85, of Midvale, Utah, passed away on March 7, 2026.
Patricia was born on June 19, 1940, in Kirkland, New Mexico, to Jewel and Leona McGee. She grew up in a large and loving Latter-day Saint family.
Patricia attended Brigham Young University and graduated in 1962 with her teaching degree. Teaching was both her profession and her passion. She dedicated 28 years to educating young people while teaching in the Salt Lake School District, the Grantsville School District, and the Granite School District. Her love of learning and commitment to her students made a lasting impact on many lives.
Patricia was first married to Richard Burke with whom she had three children. She later married Joe Wade followed by Richard Meidlinger. She is survived by her three children Tiffany Ceehorne (Roland), Maury Burke (Tracy), John Burke (Katie). Step Children Jeffrey Wade (Andrea), Jana Parker, Jill Jakubowski and Shane Wade (Brenda).
She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Tyson Pickett, Sheena Brady, Preston Pickett, Jaren Burke, Cayden Burke, Noah Burke, Madison Francom, Carson Burke, Julia Burke, Josh Richards and Ryan Richards along with her 9 great-grandchildren. We would like to express a heartfelt thanks to Susan Allred, Copper Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care and Lejla Young.
She spent many years living in Midvale, Utah, where she created a home filled with love and memories. Patricia will be remembered for her deep love for her family, and the joy she found in being a grandmother and great-grandmother. Her legacy of kindness, learning, and devotion to those she loved will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Patricia was preceded in death by her siblings Michael McGee and Jeaneen McGee. She is survived by her siblings Lavoy McGee, Barry McGee, Marva Purvis and Debbie McCoy, along with many extended family members and friends.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., followed by funeral services at 12:00 p.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6770 South 500 East, Midvale, Utah 84047. Interment will be at Holladay Memorial Park.

Pat was always so loving and kind. She's was a wonderful mother in law. I enjoyed our many many visits. I loved how she loved my father in law, Richard Meidlinger. I will miss her dearly.
