Patricia Ann Wareham, 70, of Greenville passed away on Saturday January 4, 2025 at her residence in Greenville.
Pat was born on May 21,1954 in Meadville to the late Merle and Sara (Stadler) Wareham. She was a 1972 graduate of Lakeview High School where she was a member of the marching and concert bands. She was a graduate of Sharon Hospital School of Nursing in 1975 and started her nursing career at Sharon General Hospital. She continued her career as a nurse at Greenville Hospital, retiring in 2016 with over 40 years’ service in the healthcare field.
Pat was an avid reader and also enjoyed old movies. She loved all family events, especially family reunions with the Warehams on July 4 th each year. She and her sister Dorie visited with their cousins every chance they could. Pat, along with her parents, sister, brother and niece spent several summers traveling throughout the United States for vacations. In recent years, Dorie Pat and Shane enjoyed random car rides to visit local areas of interest. Pat especially enjoyed her grand nephews and giving special gifts to each of her family members. She never missed the opportunity to send a card for a birthday or anniversary.
She is survived by a sister Dorie Dick, Sandy Lake, two brothers Don (Janet) Wareham, McMurray, Pa, and Shane Wareham, Sandy Lake, her niece Courtney (Mike) Thompson, Erie PA and their three sons Gary, Nolan and Ethan. She is also survived by many beloved cousins.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Gary Dick and infant niece Suzanne Dick.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home and Crematory, INC. 99 Franklin St. Stoneboro, PA 16153. Friends and family will be welcomed at the funeral home from 4-7pm on Thursday, January 9. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home the following day, Friday, January 10, at 11 am.
Internment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Pat’s name to the Lakeview Area Public Library, Box 622, Sandy Lake, PA 16145.
