Mrs. Williams passed away on August 31, 2025, in Tyler.
Patricia Ann (Pugh) Williams was born on August 20, 1945, in El Paso, Texas, to Verna Lucille (Melton) Pugh and George Bennet Pugh. She graduated from Brownsboro High School, where she was crowned Homecoming Queen in her senior year. Patti taught English in the Philippines and spent many years as an elementary school teacher in the United States. Later, she transitioned into a consulting role, where she focused on leadership development for various firms. Patti enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, George Richard Williams.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Naomi Martin of Chandler; her great-grandchildren, Jupiter Martin, Eli Martin, Hank Martin, and Stella Martin, all of Chandler; and her brothers, Jerry Pugh of Chandler and Gary Pugh and wife Laura of Rockwall.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
