Charles Wallace Williams Jr.

Charles W. Williams, Jr., 77, passed away on November 18, 2025, in Bloomington, Indiana. Born on December 13, 1947, in Greencastle, Indiana, Charles lived a life marked by service, love for the outdoors, and dedication to his community.
A proud Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, Charles carried the discipline and camaraderie of his military days throughout his life. His service to his country was a source of immense pride. After his honorable discharge, Charles continued to embody the values of loyalty and commitment in his civilian life.
Charles took pride in finding strength and solace in his faith. He enjoyed helping others, often volunteering to mow his neighbors' yards.
His love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him. Charles found joy in camping and fishing, embracing every opportunity to be surrounded by nature. His laid-back attitude made every outdoor adventure with him a memorable and relaxing experience.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Delores Williams, his father, Charles Williams, Sr., his mother, Colleen (Baker) Williams, and several aunts and uncles, Charles's legacy of warmth and generosity lives on through his brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Mary Williams of Ocala, Florida.
His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
The funeral service for Charles will take place on Monday, November 24, starting at 1:00 pm at Chandler Funeral Homes- Whitaker Chapel in Gosport with Pastor Jane Muncie officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 am until time of service. Burial will follow services at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
