Ronald Marsh

Ronald Lee Marsh, 78, of Weslaco TX and formerly of Speedway and Gosport IN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Born on October 7, 1946, in Stinesville IN. Ron was a loving husband to Sharon K. Hall Marsh, a loving father to Kelly D. Marsh Gordon, and Pap to his granddaughters Kelsey B. Marshall Betzler and Madison K. Marshall.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon, daughter Kelly (Lonnie), grandchildren, Kelsey (William) and Madison,and his great grandchildren, Kaden, and Wren Betzler. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Floyd E. Marsh, and Nelia F. "Tootsie" Knipstine Marsh, and his two brothers, Tom, and Junior "Bugs" Marsh.
Ron married the love of his life, Sharon, on May 7, 1966. He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 - 1969. He was a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service for 35 years retiring in 2001 and was a lifelong member of the NALC Union. Ron loved shing, watching movies, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. He was also an Officer on the Social Board and was in charge of Social Hour for several years at Siesta Retirement Village in Texas. Ron often worked with others completing volunteer work.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 18th at Chandler Funeral Home - Whitaker Chapel in Gosport IN. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm and the service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of owers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
We nd comfort in knowing that Ron's legacy lives on through the lessons he has taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
