Patricia Wilson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Boren-Conner Funeral Home - Jacksonville on Mar. 31, 2026.
Patricia Ann Wilson, 87, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Patricia was born on June 30, 1938, to Woodie W. Parker Adams and Eric Hugo Adams. Her early years shaped in her a deep resilience and a capacity for love that she carried throughout her life.

Patricia was a devoted and faithful member of Nacogdoches First Church of the Nazarene, where she spent decades loving and being loved by her church family. Her faith was a steady foundation, and she found joy, purpose, and community within her church. She was a loving wife and mother whose gentle spirit and unwavering devotion anchored her family.

Patricia took great pride in caring for her home and making it beautiful. She loved cooking for and feeding her family, and her kitchen was often a place of comfort, laughter, and togetherness. She enjoyed cross stitch and created many beautiful pieces that she shared with family and friends, each one stitched with patience and love.

She spent her career working as a bookkeeper for Texas Farm Products until her retirement. In the years that followed, she cherished the quiet rhythms of home and spent the last twenty five years enjoying her time there.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Louise Terry; her brother, Elton Adams; her beloved husband, Joseph Rosel (Rowe) Wilson; and her son, Terry Wayne Wilson.

Patricia is survived by her brother, Raymond Adams; her children, Ronnie Wilson and his wife Melissa, and Sheila Stout; her grandson, Connor Wilson; and her grandchildren Tori, Colten, and Teddy Joe Horton. Each of them carries forward her strength, her humor, and the steadfast love she gave so freely.

Patricia's life was defined by devotion-to her faith, to her family, and to the people she held dear. She will be remembered for her warmth, her quiet determination, and the way she made every person feel seen and cared for.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Church of the Nazarene, 211 SE Stallings Drive, Nacogdoches, Texas 75964. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the First Church of the Nazarene Children's Ministry.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want... He restores my soul." - Psalm 23:1–3

May her gentle spirit, her quiet strength, and her deep love continue to guide the hearts of all who knew her.
