Dear Miss Patty's children, Joshua, Jeremy, Megan and TJ. I knew your mother from Jackson-Via where I'm a substitute teacher. And although we didn't know each other well, I can't stop thinking about Patty and the four of you and the pictures of you on her desk. I wish we could bring her back and I wish she was still at Jackson-Via getting all the children to follow the rules! She was a tough cookie with a big, big heart. I am thinking of each of you at this very sad time.
