Patricia E. Woody-Gregg, fondly known as "Pattie" transitioned from Earth to eternity on November 14, 2025.
Pattie was the fourth child born to the late Clinton " Jack" and Marie Chiles Woody on October 20, 1954, in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Pattie graduated from Ardmore High School in the Class of 1972. While in high school, her first employment job was through the Neighbor Youth Corp. She was employed at the Social Security Office in Ardmore. Her first supervisor was Ms. Bobbie Dudley who took Pattie under her caring wings to support her in this job.
After graduating from high school, Pattie moved to Oklahoma City where she attended business school. She then became employed by Sohio Oil Company for several years until the company moved to California. While at Sohio she also worked part-time at Sears in the Office at Shephard Mall. Pattie's next job was W&W Steel on West Reno in Oklahoma City. There she was employed for forty-six years and two months. There she found her work family and enjoyed her job.
It is also at W&W Steel where Pattie met the "Love of her Life" Randy Gregg. Pattie shared 44+ years with her devoted husband, Randy. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and deep mutual respect. Pattie had a natural gift for keeping her household running smoothly, she led with love, determination, and an unobstructed vision of how things should be. Randy often joked that he was happy to follow her lead when needed, because she always seemed to know exactly what was best. Their partnership was one of teamwork, loyalty, and unwavering affection. Pattie will be remembered not only for her sharp wit, but for the way she loved fiercely and lived with purpose. Pattie will be remembered as the quiet strength in the immediate family, and she loved her four-legged pets (her dogs) and growing her plants.
Pattie is survived by her husband, Randy Gregg, bonus sons Chris Gregg, Chad Gregg and granddaughters Crissy Gregg and Morgan Gregg, great granddaughters Mellie and Sylvie. She is also survived by her siblings, Annette French (Columbus, OH), Cheryl Thomas (Fort Worth, TX), Carol Woody-Cohee (Ardmore, OK), Steven Woody (Ardmore, OK), and Kathy Woody (Las Vegas, NV) and predeceased by her sibling, Jackie Woody (Ardmore, OK). She leaves a host of nieces and nephews, extended family, in-laws, co-workers, and church members who will miss her dearly.
