The first memory I have of Patricia (Mom) was when I was 3 or 4yrs old. One morning, she went to the closet where she kept my vitamins and the empty bottle greeted her. She asked, "Where are your vitamins?!", and my reply was, "They're in my toes". I'll never forget the look of fear that washed over her as she scooped me up and rushed me to have my stomach pumped.
