Patrick Ardezzone, 81, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, in Naples, Florida.
Born on February 1, 1944, in New York City, Patrick was raised on Long Island and graduated from Hewlett High School. He went on to serve his country with honor as a Navy veteran during the Vietnam War, a chapter of his life that reflected his deep sense of duty and resilience.
Following his military service, Patrick began a long and dedicated career with USAir from 1968 until his retirement in 2000, he worked as a customer service agent at JFK Airport. His decades of service were marked by professionalism and commitment to helping travelers navigate one of the world's busiest airports.
Patrick married the love of his life, Judy, and together they shared 58 years of marriage. Their enduring partnership was the foundation of a close-knit family that includes their children-Chuck, Chris (Gina), and Dawn-and grandchildren-Grace, Dominic, and Sofia-who brought him immense pride and joy throughout his life.
A man who found peace in nature, Patrick enjoyed fishing and often spent time casting a line in quiet reflection at Clam Pass in Pelican Bay. His love for the outdoors was a cherished part of his routine and offered him moments of calm and connection.
Patrick was also a man of faith who attended St. William Catholic Church in Naples. His spiritual life provided him with strength and community throughout the years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Margaret Ardezzone, as well as his sister Patricia "Poppy" Ardezzone.
Patrick's legacy lives on through the family he loved deeply and the many lives he touched through his kindness and service. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
A Visitation will be held on August 5, 2025, from 08:00 AM to 09:00 AM at Palm Royale Funeral Home & Cemetery, 6790 Vanderbilt Beach Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at St. William Catholic Church, 601 Seagate Drive. Graveside services with military honors will follow the mass at Palm Royale Cemetery.
