Patrick Beauchamp Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home - Iron Mountain on Feb. 8, 2026.
Patrick Clarence Beauchamp, 72, of Quinnesec, MI, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, in the comfort of his own home.

Pat was born in Marquette, MI, on May 14, 1953, to the late Donald "Pook" and Lorraine "Sis" (St. Louis) Beauchamp. He was a 1971 graduate from Kingsford High School. Patrick was married to his better half and love of his life, Kathleen (Fugere) on Oct. 2, 1976, sharing only about 20 years together before she preceded him in death in 1994.

Pat enjoyed employment over the years at Lake Shore Industries and Home Town Lumber. He ultimately earned his CDL and started his business, Beauchamp Trucking. Pat retired from UP Special Delivery in 2023.

He loved spending time smoking meats on his beastly smoker "Gustav" that he had custom made in Texas and demonstrating great feats of strength during his other favorite pastime, "Garage Logic". Pat was always up to date on the latest local gossip, triangulating any and all information with his siblings in Quinnesec. He was equally proud of both his grandchildren's accomplishments and shenanigans. Pat will be lovingly remembered not just for his delicious smoked meats and physical prowess but also his quick wit and sense of humor.

Pat will be missed by his children, Jenny (Mike) Lusk of McMillan, MI, and JonPaul Beauchamp of Kingsford, MI; 4 grandchildren, Logan and David Lusk, Myla and Walter Beauchamp; 2 siblings, Mary (Danny) Harvell of Rockmart, GA, and Paul Beauchamp of Quinnesec; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, Pat is preceded in death by 2 siblings, Michael Beauchamp of Sugarland, TX and Anne Brunner of Quinnesec.

Visitation will be at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home, 901 Carpenter Ave., from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026, with Msgr. Joseph Gouin officiating the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
