Patrick Bettale

ObituaryPatrick "Pat" Robert Bettale, age 77, died unexpectedly on September 27, 2021.
Pat was born November 16, 1943 in Sterling, Colorado, where he was a lifelong resident. He was a hard-working man who worked for 46 years as a Maintenance Manager at American Furniture Warehouse, after serving in the Army.
Pat was a force of nature, determined to provide and support his family. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He would do anything for them. He was a funny man, who lit up any room he walked into. Not only was he funny, but he wore his heart on his sleeve. He wasn't afraid to be direct with you. Pat was a skilled man at everything and anything; from fixing his grandchildren's toys to building furniture.
Pat was passionate when it came to being creative. He loved to paint, he painted anything from a picture to a statue. He also could often be found outside, working on his yard. If he wasn't working on his yard, he was watching the Denver Broncos, or the Golden Girls on television.
Anyone who knew Pat knew he was the most loving father and grandfather anyone could ask for. He is survived by his sisters, Eleanor Casias, Kathy Martinez, Margie Bobian, and Alice Santistevan; his only child, Julia Bettale; his grandchildren, Gayl Martinez and Cassandra Bettale; and his great-grandchildren, Armani Martinez, Killian Bettale, Bennett Longoria, and Esperanza Longoria. Pat is preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
The family requests that all flowers and notes be sent to 1440 Eppinger Boulevard, Thornton, Colorado 80229.
