James “Patrick” Connor passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Monday, October 14th. He retired from Ky Dept of Transportation, District 5 and was an avid Louisville Cardinals fan.
His was preceded in death by his father, Bob Connor; mother, Patricia Sullivan Connor; brother, Tim Connor; and other beloved family members.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Karen; sons, Christopher (Brittany Dietrick), Michael Thornbury (Maegan), and daughter Michelle Blackman (Eric); grandchildren, Zoey, Alexa, Sam and Eli; brother, Jeff (Pat); sisters, Dana (Kay) and Vicki; as well as family members and his faithful dog, Calvin J Connor. Also surviving are a host of relatives and friends.
A gathering to celebrate Patrick's life will be from 5 to 8pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.
Patrick's visitation wishes are that everyone dress casually and have fun.
Memorials may be made to the ASPCA or the Kentucky Humane Society.
