Patrick T. Curley, a longtime resident of Andover and beloved husband of Evelyn E. (Defossez) Curley, passed away at his home on Monday morning, November 17, 2025. He was 69 years old.

Pat was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, to the late John E. and Carmen R. (Caouette) Curley on October 10, 1956. He was the third of four sons. Pat was most recently employed as the Assistant Executive Secretary for the Massachusetts Knights of Columbus. He had been a member of the organization for more than 20 years. He had also been employed by the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home in Andover and was retired from the Dodge Company in Cambridge. Pat was a Professional Sound Engineer, working with live bands as the house sound man at Johnny D's Nightclub in Somerville, which is where he met his wife, Evelyn.

In his spare time, Pat enjoyed listening to music, especially Eric Clapton and The Grateful Dead. He also enjoyed playing golf and cards with his many friends. Pat will be dearly missed.

In addition to his beloved wife, Evelyn, Pat is lovingly survived by his children; Marycarmen G. Curley of Andover and Jack R. Curley of Andover, brothers and sisters-in-law; James J. Curley and his wife, Wendee Glick Curley of Nashua, New Hampshire and Brian F. and his wife Colleen "Kelly" Curley of Dracut, Mark Defossez and his wife Kirsten, Steven Defossez and his wife Linda, nieces and nephews; Kathryn, Jeremy, Jessica, godson Joshua, Samantha, Julie, Ellen, Jack, Neal, Christopher, Nick, Daniel and Beth and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Patrick was also the brother of the late Michael D. Curley.

His funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be held in the West Parish Garden Cemetery in Andover. Donations in Patrick's memory may be made to the Knights of Columbus, Mass State Office, 470 Washington Avenue, Suite 6, Norwood, MA 02062.
