Patrick Andrew Curvy 54, was born in Paterson, NJ at Barnet Hospital on October 7, 1969.
Patrick attended Paterson Public Schools and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1988. After graduating Patrick pursued a career at P.C. Richard and Sons as a distribution clerk and after relocating to South Jersey he worked for Burlington Coat Factory as a supervisor.
He was a former member of Living Faith Christian Center in Pennsauken, NJ. He was saved and loved the Lord. Patrick enjoyed sports, football, basketball, going to Broadway shows, comedy shows and music concerts. Patrick loved spending time with his children and grandchildren as well as spending quality time with friends.
Pat was an excellent father and grandfather to his children and was our hero. He loved his family dearly. Patrick, "Pat", "SI", as he was affectionately known was a good friend to many people and a mentor to some. He often took people under his wing and helped them as much as he could. He was soft spoken and friends often referred to him as a "Gentle Giant.
On Sunday, April 21, 2024, Patrick Andrew Curvy was called home to be with the Lord as Jesus promised in the 14th chapter of John.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Curvy Guzman, father, Rudolph Dickson, grandparents, Zelda Curvy, Jesse & Nettie Briggs, sister, Lisa Briggs Williams.
He leaves to cherish wonderful memories his children, Chynna Maye, Shaquille Brewington; father, John Briggs (Renvy); grandchildren, Semaj Mann, Chamar Boyd, Asaad Brewington; sisters, Jenine E Briggs, Heidi C. Curvy-Bullock, and Joy M Briggs; brothers, Rudolph Curvy (Sharanda), John M. Briggs Joshua M. Briggs(Tawanna), Jalen R. Briggs, Julian M. Briggs; special niece, Nahya Bullock and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Patrick was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be truly missed.
