Patrick B. Dacey

Patrick Baird Dacey, 79, passed away on January 31, 2025, in his hometown of Wheeling. Pat was born on July 10, 1945, the son of Eugene and Catherine (Arbour) Dacey.
In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded in death by his brother Mark T. Dacey.
Pat leaves behind his wife Dorothy; daughter Jessica Dacey, daughter Erin McLaughlin, and son Patrick T. Dacey; and grandchildren Noah Roxby, Katelynn Roxby, Jacob Roxby, Bryson McLaughlin, and Aiden McLaughlin.
Pat worked as a police officer for 36 years and was a proud Navy Veteran.
Family and friends will be received at a Memorial Visitation on Monday, February 10, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Homes Wheeling Chapel, 1400 Eoff St. An inurnment of cremated remains with Military Honors by the US Navy and the Moundsville Honor Guard will take place on Tuesday, February 11, at 12:00 pm at Greenwood Cemetery.
