Patrick R. Fair, 51, of LaGrange, Indiana, died on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at his residence, after a 23-year battle with cancer.
He was born in Goshen, Indiana, on Nov. 1, 1973, to Jerry A. and Donna J. (Harp) Fair.
Pat lived most of his life in LaGrange, except for the years 2009-2018 when he lived in Indianapolis.
He was a 1993 graduate of Lakeland High School, where he competed in track and field.
Pat previously worked at Lake Park Industries in Shipshewana, Indiana.
He was a proud member of the LaGrange Sons of the American Legion Post #215 and enjoyed the time he spent at the post. He even helped serve meals at the post a few weeks ago.
Pat was also a huge IU basketball fan.
Surviving are his mother, Donna J. Fair, of LaGrange; a brother, Andrew A. (Amy) Fair, of Howe; a nephew, Aaron A. (Erica) Fair, of Howe; and a great-nephew, Thomas Fair.
His father, Jerry A. Fair, preceded him in death on Sept. 3, 2022.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, IN 46761.
A 2 p.m. memorial service will be held at the funeral home following the visitation, with the The Rev. Mike Antal officiating the services.
Burial will follow the services at Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be contributed in Pat's memory to LaGrange American Legion Post #215.

Our son and daughter spent a great deal of time with Pat and Andy. We lived next to them and we have some precious memories of that time. We are so sorry to hear of his passing.
