Sheila Sue (Conley) Ritchie, age 56, of rural Kendallville, passed away January 22, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Sheila was born in Kendallville, Indiana, on August 15, 1969, to Eric and Nancy Ann (Conley) Duncan. She graduated from Lakeland High School in 1988, and she was a homemaker. She married Ronald Wayne Ritchie on August 3, 1986, at Community Baptist Church, Wolcottville.

Sheila was a vibrant soul, always full of life and warmth. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. She had a deep love for the ocean and a passion for traveling, always finding beauty and adventure wherever she went. Sheila will be remembered for her loving heart, joyful spirit, and the light she brought into the lives of those around her.

Survivors include:
Husband, Ron Ritchie of Kendallville.
Daughter, Sonia and R.J. Hall of Big Long Lake, Wolcottville.
Daughter, Melissa and Joe Luckett of Yorktown, Indiana.
Daughter, Amanda and Kory O'Neal of Avon, Indiana.
Seven grandchildren: Harper Hall, Amelia Hall, Preston Luckett, Roman Luckett, Saylor Luckett, Jackson O'Neal, and Kennedy O'Neal.
Parents, Eric and Nancy Duncan of LaGrange.
Sister, Sherry and Jay Whitehead of Wolcottville.
Sister, Erin and Jim Burgoon of Lake George, Angola.
Brother, Scott Duncan of Hog Lake, Angola.

Sheila was preceded in death by her grandparents Audrey and David Duncan and Laura and Fred Conley.

A celebration of life will occur at a later date.
