Bob A. Britton

Robert A. "Bob" Britton, 61, of LaGrange, IN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026, surrounded by the family he loved so deeply at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

Born on August 14, 1964, in Fort Knox, KY, Bob made LaGrange County his home for most of his life. A proud 1983 graduate of Lakeland High School, he built a life rooted in hard work, loyalty, and genuine care for others. For the past 11 years, he served as a line supervisor at JAG Mobile Solutions in Howe, IN. Bob took great pride in his work and cherished the friendships he formed with his coworkers, who became like a second family to him.

Bob's greatest joy came from the people he loved. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose world revolved around supporting his children and cheering on his granddaughters in every sport and activity. Whether he was cooking a meal for family and friends, sharing a laugh around the table, or settling in to watch Notre Dame or Chicago Bears football, Bob brought warmth, humor, and heart to every moment.

On August 2, 1986, in LaGrange, he married the love of his life, Shelley K. Vaillancourt.

Surviving is wife, Shelley Britton of LaGrange, IN; his children, Ashley M. Bolen of LaGrange, IN, and Travis (Heather) Britton of LaGrange, IN; his three adored granddaughters, Adyson, Paisley, and Kinsley Bolen; his beloved grandpups, Mia and Wren; and his siblings, Kenny Britton of Texarkana, TX, Louie Sulivan of Doddridge, AR, and Shari Britton of LaGrange, IN.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale A. Britton; his mother, Sandra L. (Fox) Britton; and his sister, Lori Hallenbeck.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 11:00 am at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, IN, with Jacob Cline officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange, IN.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 3–7 pm at the funeral home.
