Patrick Gerald Green

Patrick Gerald Green, age 74, tragically passed away on January 30, 2026, as the result of a home fire. He was born on March 10, 1951, and lived a life defined by service, hard work, generosity, and deep love for his family.

Patrick proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, a commitment that shaped his strength, discipline, and sense of duty throughout his life. Following his service, he worked as a rancher, truck driver, construction worker, and mechanic-a true jack of all trades and, to those who knew him, a master of all. Even at 74 years old, Patrick remained one of the hardest-working men many had ever known.

A father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Patrick found peace and joy in nature. He loved watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and anyone who knew him knew of his deep love for the Jemez Mountains-a place that reflected his steady spirit and appreciation for life's quiet beauty.

Patrick had a rare gift for connection. Every friend he met became an instant relative to his children, welcomed as family without hesitation. He was a generous man who would do anything for anyone, always willing to help and never asking for anything in return. He taught those around him the value of independence, perseverance, and integrity, and he never missed an opportunity to let his family-and anyone close to him-know how proud he was of them.

He is survived by his children: Patrick Green II (Karen), Tisha Green (Wally), Joey Spencer, Patti Green (Natacha), Levi Green (Kelly), and David Green

He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Justin Green, Ryan Reyes, Aron Chavez, Colton Hale, Hunter Green, Riley Green, Jacob Green, Daniel Green, Robert Green, David Green, and Kayla Getsie; and seven great-grandchildren.

Patrick was preceded in death by his father Clyde Green, his mother Carolyn Green, his sister Sue Holm, his brother David Saum, his sister Rhonda Newsom, and his granddaughter Laura Green, his infant son baby boy Green.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 5:30 PM at Heights Christian Church, 6935 Commanche Road, Albuquerque, NM 87110.

Patrick's legacy is one of service, strength, kindness, sarcasm and unconditional love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by the family-both by blood and by heart.
