Patrick Harnett

Patrick Harnett, 81, of Chicago, at rest December 7, 2025. Patrick was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Army as a clerk. After the war Patrick had a long service with the Chicago Transit Authority where he retired as the supervisor of the electrical engineering department at the Skokie Shops. Patrick was also a proud lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears and an avid golfer. Beloved husband of the late Nancy Harnett; loving brother of Joan (the late Jim) Ward, the late John (the late Margaret) Harnett, the late Martin (Nancy) Harnett, Catherine Ann (the late Hugh) Hegarty, the late Margaret Jones, Mary Jane (William) Arseneau; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. Memorial visitation Friday, December 12, 2025 9:30-10am at Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N Sauganash, Chicago, IL 60646. Mass to follow at 10am. Interment private.
