Patrick Glenn Hufnagel age 34 of Portland passed away August 15, 2025. He was born February 8, 1991 in Grand Rapids the son of Joseph Anthony and Rosalinda (Rocha) Hufnagel.
Pat married the love of his life Aleisha Lynn Perry on July 25, 2015 in Lyons-Muir, together they raised 3 wonderful boys.
He worked hard for his family, accomplishing his CDL while working for Consumers Concrete in Lansing, later worked for Herbrucks in Ionia/Saranac, Ameri-gas in Ionia and with Bluewater Industrial Products with Corrigan Propane and Oil in Greenville. Pat enjoyed fishing, driving anywhere, video gaming and doing anything outdoors. He loved having BBQ's with his family. Pat always stayed in touch with those he loved and was always the life of the party, put the "P" in party! He will be remembered as always saying "I'm down with that".
Pat is survived by his wife "The stars to his moon" Aleisha Hufnagel of Portland. His sons, who he loved with all his heart and would do anything to protect them, Conner, Bentley and Carter Hufnagel all of Portland. Parents, Joseph and Rosalinda Hufnagel of Ionia. Siblings, Rachelle (Norman) Hosford of Ionia, Nicole Cooper (Jeff Miller) of Saranac and Joseph Anthony Hufnagel II of Ionia. Mother and Father-in-law, Greg and Jennifer Perry of Pewamo. Brothers and Sisters in law, Rhet (Jenny) Goodman of Portland, Kayleigh (Andrew) McCloud of Ionia, Lynette Perry of Pewamo and Joshua Perry of Pewamo. Several nieces and nephews that he was known as "Uncle P". Special Friend Jay Michel.
He was preceded in death by his nephew Knox Hosford, Grandfather Leo Rowland and Grandmother Kristine Winkinck.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ionia on Friday, August 22nd at Noon with Father Eugene Batungbacal Celebrant. Rite of Committal at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Friday 10 a.m. until the time of services, with a Rosary at 11:30 a.m. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Patrick's family.
