Thomas Carl Noffke, age 76 of Lake Odessa, passed away August 23, 2025. He was born May 7, 1949, in Jackson, Michigan, the son of Carl F. and Hazel D. (Buxton) Noffke.

Tom went to Lakewood Public Schools graduating with the class of 1967. He later joined the Navy serving during Vietnam. When Tom came home from service he worked on the family farm with his Dad and learned his dad's love for carpentry. He worked as a custodian at Lakewood Public Schools and then Saranac Public Schools before going to work at Caledonia bus garage and as a custodian. Tom also painted buildings with Bob Warner for many years.

He married Marilyn Oaks Smith October 9, 1999, at Lakewood United Methodist Church in Lake Odessa. Tom was a past member of Lakewood United Methodist, pitching on the softball team and singing while his wife played the organ. Tom was a former Boy Scout Leader of troop 152 in Sunfield. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and CB radios where he was nicknamed "Tony Tiger". Tom loved watching the Detroit Tigers and Tiger Woods. He loved camping with his family, mowing his yard to perfection, decorating outside for Christmas and Jigsaw Puzzles with Marilyn. Trips to Mackinac City to see light houses with Marilyn for their anniversaries. Tom will always be remembered as the "Mayor" because everyone knew his name.

Surviving is his wife, Marilyn Noffke. Children, Annette (Scott), Triezenberg, Sam (Rebecca) Noffke and Randy Noffke. Stepchildren, Jami Butler, Mary (Chris) Strasser and Michael Oaks. Sister Carna (Brian) Harper. Grandchildren, Hope, Holly, Cosette, Jasmine, Benjamin and Jason. Several step-grandchildren. Nieces Katie (Mark) Crego and Elizabeth Barden. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepson Steven Oaks and Grandmother Maryann Noffke.
