Patrick E. Ingold Sr., born on December 8, 1940, departed this life on April 25, 2025. Patrick was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose legacy will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Rosemary N. Ingold, with whom he shared many wonderful years. Patrick was the proud father of two sons, Patrick E. Ingold Jr. (Melanie) and Sean C. Ingold, as well as a nurturing father to his daughter, Buffy M. Ingold. His family extended with the love of two step-sons, Anthony Krodinger and William B. Krodinger (Darlene), along with a step-daughter, Elizabeth M. Carron (Larry). Patrick's legacy continues with twelve cherished grandchildren: Austin, Myles, Sierra, Lexi, Savannah, Alyse, Preston, Londyn, Jacob, Matthew, Aaron, and Casey. Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Edward J. Ingold, and his mother, Gertrude C. Ingold. Their memories will remain a guiding light for his family as they navigate life without him.
A man of simple pleasures, Patrick enjoyed watching sports on television, which brought him great joy and a sense of connection, particularly during times spent with family and friends. Known for his unique habit, he always paid with $2 bills, a little trademark that endeared him to many and became a charming aspect of his personality.
As we remember Patrick E. Ingold Sr., we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by love, laughter, and the unwavering bonds of family. His spirit will carry on in the hearts of those he leaves behind and in the many stories shared in his memory.
