Patrick Kell Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 26, 2024.
Patrick A. Kell, passed away at 65 years of age on November 18, 2024, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Patrick was born on May 15, 1959, to Dale and Barbara (Sayles) Kell. As kids, Patrick, his brothers Peter and Paul, his sisters Polly, Penny, and Peggy were the 6-PAK of kids who ran fast and played hard in their neighborhood on the outskirts of Wausau.
After graduating from Wausau West, he then found a passion for creating fine food while working as a chef.
Patrick was deeply devoted to his wife and soulmate Colleen, who married in 1982, bought a house and land north of Wausau, to nurture his love of food and nature through Gardening and hunting. He loved his dogs, nature, and his family.
Patrick lived his life tough and tender. Patrick's family, friends, and acquaintances will always remember the things that made him a rare and special person. His tenderness and his talents live on in the world and beyond. To borrow words from one of his favorite Lynyrd Skynyrd songs, Patrick didn't lust for the rich man's gold, all he needed was in his soul.
In addition to his wife Colleen (Buth), Patrick is survived by his siblings, Peter (Ruth) Kell, Paul (Jaci)
Kell, Polly (Dan) Sullivan, Penny (Mike) Turner, Peggy Farrell. Sister-in-laws, Judi (Les) Stankowski,
Nancy Kremsreiter, Ellen (Tim) Heil, and Many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father-in-law Lorene and Elmer Buth, brother in-
laws Dale Kremsreiter, and Robert Tessmer.
