Terral Gilbert Kell

Mr. Terral "Bo" Gilbert Kell, age 80, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025 at his residence. He was born on January 18, 1945 in McMinnville, TN. He retired from the U.S. Navy where he was a skilled mechanic on an aircraft carrier. While serving his country, he enjoyed traveling the world and seeing God's creations. He had a green thumb as he planted and cared for his flowers. You could often catch him feeding all of the birds that wandered into his yard.

Survivors include his daughter Melissa (Adam) Whitehead, brother Jimmy (Annette) Kell, sister Joyce Rigsby, grandchildren Kellie Whitehead, William Whitehead, and Savannah Whitehead, and great grandchild Bennett Whitehead. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. He is preceded in death by his parents James Gilbert Kell and Nannie Willene Terry Kell.

Graveside service and interment for Mr. Kell is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Crain Hill Cemetery. Tony Lawrence will officiate. Military grave rites will be bestowed by American Legion Post 173 and V.F.W. Post 5064. The family will meet friends at the cemetery as there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
