Patrick L LaFlamme

RICHMOND, MAINE
Patrick L. LaFlamme, age 65, died unexpectedly Saturday, November 2, 2024 in Dixmont, ME. He was born in Augusta, ME on August 15, 1959, the son of Ronald E. and Nicole D. (Kiper) LaFlamme.
Patrick was a high school graduate, attending schools in Augusta, ME and Livermore Falls, ME. He had been employed by the State of Maine, Department of Transportation for 14 years until moving to Virginia in 1997 where he worked at T Y Lin International as an IT Coordinator/Network Administrator for CADD Management and Production which was his favorite job. Upon returning to Maine in 2009, he was employed by the State of Maine Motor Vehicles Dept until he retired July 31, 2024.
Patrick was an avid professional disc golfer and made many friends while golfing, was past member of the PDGA and NEFA Association as well as the USPGA. Some of his favorite Disc Golf courses were CR Farms, Burnsboro and DND. Pat enjoyed farming and working with all the animals. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed Martial Arts, weightlifting, photography, telling bad dad jokes, and had a unique ability to make pen.ink drawings as well as sign painting. He greatly enjoyed woodworking on his sawmill at his home. Patrick was a member of Le Club Calumet.
Patrick was pre-deceased by his mother, Nicole D. (Kiper) LaFlamme; his paternal grandparents, Laurent K. and Alexina LaFlamme; maternal grandmother, Dorothee Kiper; step grandfather, Robert Spears; godfather/uncle, Larry E. LaFlamme, and his cousin, Susan Morrill.
He is survived by his fiancée, Ellen C. Jones of Richmond; his father and bonus mom, Ronald E. and Jeanne LaFlamme of Fayette; his sister and brother-in-law, Monique and Daniel Howlett of Belgrade; his godmother/aunt, Dolores LaFlamme of Florida; his step grandmother, Theresa Spears of Fayette as well as several cousins and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
