Patrick Joseph Lento

Patrick Joseph Lento age 29 passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ.
Patrick was born in Somerville, NJ on November 2, 1995, son of John Lento of Saylorsburg, PA and Kathleen (Scherer) Hoffman of Albrightsville, PA.
He was an Emergency Medical Technician for Lehigh Valley Health Network Ambulance in Saylorsburg, PA for seven years. Patrick also served his community as a volunteer fire fighter for the Blue Ridge Hook and Ladder in Saylorsburg, PA.
He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert, PA.
Patrick leaves behind a legacy of love and time well spent in service to his community.
We were blessed with his presence in our lives; his love of life and family will continue to carry us forward. He will be deeply missed by his father: John Lento of Saylorsburg, PA, his mother: Kathleen (Scherer) Hoffman and husband Michael of Albrightsville, PA, his siblings: Matthew Lento and wife Jillian of Slatington, PA, Joseph Lento of Saylorsburg, PA, Kaitlin Lento of Philadelphia, PA, Mary-Kate Lento of Stroudsburg, PA, and Kelly-Ann Lento and fiancée Preston Dennis of Jim Thorpe.
Patrick is also survived by his grandmother: Mary Anne Scherer of Barnegat, NJ, Uncles: Mark Lento of Westfield, NJ, Robert Scherer and wife Carolyn of Normandy, TN, Patrick Scherer and wife Corrine of Randolph, NJ, twin nieces: Madelyn and Olivia Lento, nephew: Dalton Dennis, cousins: Megan Kays and husband Kevin, Robbie Scherer and wife Crystal, Carly Scherer and a second cousin Devin Davis. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His spirt will live on in every memory and every moment of joy that reminds us of him.
Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 6 pm until 8 pm at Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 1426 Route 209, Gilbert, PA. 18331.
Additional visitation will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM, Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert, PA.
Patrick will be laid to rest at the Buena Vista Cemetery in Brodheadsville, PA.
The family would like to invite everyone to a Celebration of Patrick's life at the American Legion Post 927 in Gilbert, PA following the interment at the cemetery.
