Patrick Marzigliano Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home - Tidewater Drive Chapel on Dec. 17, 2025.
Pat was born in Sacramento, California on March 18, 1942. He passed away on December 6, 2025 in Virginia Beach, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of Clara A. Paltz and Frank D. Marzigliano.
As a young man Pat joined the military as a Private in the U.S. Army. A born leader, Pat served 26 years in the service of our country. He retired from service a Tank Battalion Commander and Command Sergeant Major. Pat would never voice his accomplishments while serving his country, so I will for him. Among his decorations were the Bronze Star Metal, the Army Commendation Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, and the highly treasured Service Medal for him going to war- three tours in Vietnam. Pat was deeply respected and admired by his men, and he intensely loved his country!
Upon retirement Pat went on to support his military, as he began work at Synoptic System Corp., as a Systems Analyst. There at Fort Lee Base in Petersburg, VA, Pat made many dear friends throughout the years.
Pat especially loved his wife and family. He was a wonderfully wise mentor to all his sisters, children, nieces, and nephews, in the ways of life.
Left to cherish his brave and caring memory: his loving wife Patsy; his sons Dennis Marzigliano and Patrick Marzigliano, Jr. and daughter Diana Marzigliano; sisters- Lucrezia, Marguerite, and Mary Marzigliano and Tina Hays; Fello Outlaws Bill, Meeta, Chuck and Rosie Jones, and Cindy Justice; and with special adoration and love-his nieces and nephews- Brandee, Michelle, Rocco, Kiersten, Luke, Noah, Sammie, and Joshua; grandchildren, Brittany, Diana, Kathryn, and Austin; and great-grandson Leo.
The family will receive guests at Forest Lawn Cemetery for a graveside blessing and last Honors ceremony for our hero. The graveside service will be held on Friday, December 19th at 1 o'clock PM. 8100 Granby Street Norfolk, VA 23505. Condolences may be offered at www.hollomon-brown.com.
