Patrick Mayfield, 60, of Loraine, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

Patrick was born July 16, 1965, in Quincy, IL to Larry and Delores (Anders) Mayfield. He was married to Misty May Blivens on August 20, 2006 in Quincy, IL. She survives.

Other survivors include his nine children, Steven Roy Mayfield (Natalie) of Oklahoma City, Nikki Mitts (Chris) of Maywood, MO, Amanda Blivens (Kenneth Williams) of Quincy, Michael Robinson of Hannibal, Haily Robinson of Hannibal, Matthew Robinson (Nicole) of Hannibal, Cassandra Nelson (Mick) of Oklahoma City, Eric Nelson of Oklahoma City, and Corey Blivens (Aspen) of Ripley, OK; sixteen grandchildren, Miley, Trip, Esther, Autumn, Bentley, Kyllion, Persephone, Eden, Liam, Sylvia, Eric, Brody, Brian, Blaze, Kasen, and Ariel; one sister, Dion Hilgenbrinck (Brian); and two brothers, Brad Renier and Wesley Mayfield.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; aunts and uncles; and one brother, John Renier.

Professionally, Patrick was a master of his craft. As the owner and operator of Mayfield Home Improvement, he built a reputation as a skilled carpenter, working across Oklahoma, Arizona, Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa. His work was not just a job but a passion, and the homes and structures he improved stand as a testament to his dedication and skill.

Beyond his professional life, Patrick was a man of many interests and talents. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, with a custom softtail Harley that was not just a mode of transport but a symbol of his freedom and spirit. His love for laughter was evident in his fondness for comedies, and his musical tastes echoed the timeless melodies of old country music. Patrick was also a social creature, enjoying card and dice games, and he was known to light up the dance floor, especially when his brother's band played.

Patrick's commitment to his community was unwavering. He was a familiar face at local benefits, always ready to lend a hand or support a cause. His presence at these events was a reflection of his generous spirit and his belief in the power of community. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his loved ones and the many lives he touched.

Friends and Family are invited to a Celebration of Life/Benefit for Patrick at the Elks in Quincy, IL on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
