Patrick Medola, age 72 of Lakehills, Texas, passed away on December 9, 2025. He was born on January 31, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Ann Medola, and father Bernard G. Medola, his brothers, Bernard G. Medola, Jr. and Steve Medola, and his sister, Catherine Ann Baker.

He is survived by his daughter Rhianna M. Medola, former wife Janice Medola, sisters, Theresa Staats Donna McKinney and husband Roger McKinney, sister in law Julie Medola Meyer and his dog Stella.

Patrick was a born here in San Antonio on January 31, 1953. A proud graduate of John Marshall High School's class of 1973, he went on to sharpen his technical skills studying CNC/CAD/CAM at St. Phillips College.

His professional life saw him apply his expertise at respected local institutions, including Southwest Research Institute, Sony, and Columbia Bowling. He dedicated himself to his work before happily retiring in 2017.

Away from work, Patrick lived life with enthusiasm and an explorer's spirit. He found peace and excitement in his passions: patiently fishing, eagerly hunting for unique rocks, and using his metal detector to search for hidden treasures. He loved sharing laughter and song during karaoke nights and, most of all, cherished being surrounded by his friends and family, especially his cousins. His heart held a special, soft spot for his beloved furry best friend, Stella, who was always by his side. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 9:00 am – 10:30 am at Mission Park Funeral Chapels Dominion with a Funeral Service to begin at 10:30 am. The interment will take place directly after at Mission Burial Park North Dominion.
