I learned a lot doing office work in the AD office for Coach Orloff. He could be so funny and was really good handling highly dramatic, emotional females (me), which surprises me when his focus was the male athletes. He was patient, willing to teach, and I have many funny memories of him. I loved his intensity, I admired his dedication, and his kindness. He made a positive impression on so many. Thank you Mr. Orloff. Debbie Simpson NHS Class of 1974

Coach Orloff was absolutely the best coach and mentor any young person could have. He gave all of himself to the Norwood High School football program and he cared so deeply about all of the players. When you played for him, you knew you were part of a special family. He will be missed by all and his impact on so many of us will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace and THANK YOU for believing in all of us. Your memory will always be with us!

I helped Coach Orloff with paperwork in his Norwood HS office. He was such a great man. I’m happy he lived a good life and touched so many students along the way. Prayers for comfort. Kim Robisch Kindig(1975)

I still remember the first time I met Coach Orloff. One of the kindest coaches I ever had. He had a way of talking to you, not at you. He made sure to let you know he wanted you to be successful; on and off the field. Thoughts and prayers to Coach Orloff and his family.

Coach Patrick Orloff
So difficult to convey how much I admired, respected and appreciated him as my coach in football and wrestling during my years at Norwood High School.
Tough, hard, disciplined and CARING — he was exactly what young men in high school needed.
He will always be a part of me.
He was one of the best men I’ve ever known.

I did not know Mr Orloff personally, but I have known his daughter Teresa and taught with her for many years. She always spoke highly of her father and had a loving, close relationship with him. He was a perfect dad and family man who will be forever in their hearts.
