Patrick John Quinn, 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on November 6, 2023.
Patrick "Pat" was born November 17, 1943 in Indianapolis to Francis “F” Quinn and Barbara Flynn Quinn. Patrick was a proud graduate of St Joan of Arc Catholic School, Cathedral High School and The University of Notre Dame. His career spanned international banking, commercial real estate banking and government procurement.
Pat was witty, vibrant, intelligent, well-read, and loved his family fiercely. He enjoyed sports-especially Nascar, Notre Dame football and Crystal Palace FC. Although he was a true Anglophile, he was equally proud of his Irish heritage. Pat loved the beach, warm weather, Agatha Christie mysteries, classic movies, Jimmy Buffett and country music. Pat had a huge and generous heart and loved being of service. He was always happy to help his neighbors and was well-liked by everyone who met him. Pat lived a simple life in his retirement, enjoying regular card games with friends and frequently updating the décor in his home. He took great pleasure in following the activities and successes of his grandchildren.
Pat is survived by daughters Clare (Steve) Bowers and Caroline (Joe) Mason, grandchildren Rory, Kieran, Madeline and Lucy, and siblings Tim (Ellen) Quinn, John (Mary Helen) Quinn, Mary (John) Williams, Francis "Barney" (Claudia Somes) Quinn, Eleanor "Lolly" (John) Quagliarello, Katy Kelley, Elizabeth "Libby" (Greg) Hahn, Terrence "Terry" (Mary) Quinn and sister-in-law Ann Quinn.
Pat was preceded in death by parents Francis "F" and Barbara Flynn Quinn, brothers Michael "Mickey" Quinn, Kevin Quinn, Daniel "Dino" Quinn and sister Margaret Quinn.
