Patrick "Pat" G. Savanick, 92 of Altamonte Springs, FL and formerly of Crucible, PA, passed peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Tuesday, September 16, 2025. Pat was born on November 27, 1932, in Crucible, PA the son of George Patrick and Pauline Deloris (Cormack) Savanick. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Stella. Pat was married to his wife for 61 years when she passed in 2018. Pat grew up attending St. Mary's Catholic Church in Crucible, PA. After graduating high school, he went to work in the coal mine. He then moved to Washington, DC where he worked at a laboratory producing printer's ink and eventually for National Airlines who became PAN AM Airlines where he retired from. Pat joined the Knights of Columbus in 1952 where he was a charter member of the John F. Kennedy Memorial Council 3569, in Carmichaels, PA. He then transferred his membership to Bishop Grady Council 5618 in Orlando and then to Annunciation Council in 2000. He is survived by his children, Maria Lewis and husband Dale and Michael Savanick, siblings, George Savanick, Rita Aubin and husband Don Aubin, John Savanick and wife Ellen, and sister-in-law, Joan Hicks. A funeral mass will be held at St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, 408 Rte 88, Carmichaels, PA 15320 at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 18, 2025, and then he will be laid to rest at St Mary's Cemetery in Crucible, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to LifePath Hospice, 12470 Telecom Dr, Suite 301, Temple Terrace, FL 33637, or online at https://www.chaptershealth.org/foundation/lifepathhospice-donation/.
