Patrick Szklenski Obituary
He was born on May 11, 1948 in Erie, PA to the late Walter and Irene (Sheridan) Szklenski.
Pat graduated from St. Mary's Seminary, Mount St. Alphonsus Seminary, St. Alphonsus, and the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics.
He was employed as an aircraft technician at Erie Aviation and Erie Airways.
Pat was a faithful member of St. Gregory Church where he played guitar and sang in the choir.
He was preceded in death by his parents and baby daughter, Gayle.
Pat is survived by his wife Rene (Wesely) Szklenski whom he married August 23, 1975; children, Aric (Christie), Kyle (Riven), Paul (Tracy) and Marie Szklenski; brothers, Robert Szklenski and Theodore Szklenski; twin sister, Patricia Kaeberlein; grandchildren, Caleb, Jenna, Leif, and Andi; and dogs, Peach and Juniper.
Friends and family may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Thursday January 29th from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a prayer service on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory Church, 50, South Pearl Street, North East. Private interment will be held at St. Gregory Cemetery. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.

Dear Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Pat`s passing.
I know him as a good guy from the time we were at Saint Gregory`s with Patty and our time together at Saint Mary´s
The last time I saw him was many years ago. One of my tires went flat en route to Erie and I pulled off of 79 .
And, lo and behold, Pat pulled up behind me. He went and changed the tire by himself. He was that kind of guy.
We had a wonderful conversation, as we caught up with our lives history.
I am sending prayers, blessings, and my sympathy.
Wishing you God´s peace, especially during these most trying days.
