Our Dear Sweet Patrick Christopher Wheaton of
Bolingbrook, IL passed away suddenly on April 29, 2024. He was 59 years old. Patrick was born in
Evergreen Park, IL on March 16, 1965. He attended St. George School, Tinley Park, IL. He graduated from Providence Catholic High School,
New Lenox, IL. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and his Master of Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Management, from Lewis University,
Romeoville, IL. It was love at first sight when he and Lisa met in March, 1988. Patrick was married to his beloved wife and soulmate, Lisa, on October 6, 1990. They were married 33 years. They have a beautiful daughter, Amelia Rose. Patrick was a devoted husband and father. His dream was Amelia Rose. He adored both of his girls. He was very supportive of Lisa's career in Education, her K-dramas and her many hobbies. He supported anything and everything Amelia Rose from her Catholic Education, her College Education, her Girl Scouting, her clubs and sports, her interest in South Korea and K-pop, amongst so many other interests. Patrick excelled as a Senior Demand Planner for Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. in
Deerfield, IL. He had just celebrated his 10 Year Anniversary with Walgreens. He was a devoted Team Member and friend to his colleagues. In his spare time, Patrick enjoyed road trips, especially visiting both Antique Archaeology Stores, home of the American Pickers Show on History Channel, in LeClaire, IA and
Nashville, TN. He enjoyed antique hunting at the Kane County Flea Market,
St. Charles, IL, visiting estate sales and browsing garage sales, as well as, working in his own garage. Patrick had a passion for History, which led to the research of his own family history and his published book. He was a fan of a variety of sports, including the Chicago White Sox, the Chicago Bears and the Kane County Cougars. He enjoyed long walks and running around the lake near his home. Patrick was quiet and reserved with a dry sense of humor. He touched everyone's life in a special way, in his own way, differently. Words cannot express how much he will be missed by his beloved wife, Lisa, his beautiful daughter, Amelia Rose, his family, his friends, his coworkers, and all those that knew the special soul that was Patrick. He was one of a kind. Godspeed, Patrick! Until we meet again.
