Patsy Barenberg Obituary
Patsy Lee Barenberg, age 80, of Chester, AR, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Patsy was born August 2, 1944 in Cody, Wyoming the daughter of the late Victor and Lucille Varner. On July 13, 1968 she married Eldon Wayne Barenberg SR and he preceded her in death on September 19, 2021. Patsy was a member of the 88 Lone Elm Freewill Baptist Church in Rudy. She had worked many years as a school cafeteria manager, most recently at Tyson Elementary School in Springdale. Patsy enjoyed gardening, yard work, sewing, cooking, and decorating cakes. Patsy is survived by loving children Terry Barenberg and wife Tina, and Sherri Garrett and husband Roy; brothers Veryl Varner, Thomas Kuckuc and Donnie Kuckuk; 5 grandchildren, Krystal, Ben, Nathan, Jordan and Lila; 5 great grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Austyn, Wayne, and Melody; and several nieces and nephews. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Eldon Wayne Barenberg JR and a brother Walter Kuckuk.
