Patsy Kinard Barnes,75, born on March 31, 1949, passed peacefully in her home surrounded by family on March 15, 2025.
She is predeceased by Steve Barnes (Husband), John B. Kinard Sr. (Father), Mildred B. Kinard (Mother), Richard Kinard (Brother), Jack Kinard (Brother), John Kinard Jr. (Brother), and Billy Kinard (Brother).
Mrs. Barnes is survived by a sister Martha (Mott) Turner (Al), a brother, Arthur (Ott) Kinard and a sister-in-law, Ruth Kinard. She is also survived by all of her loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews. She loved all of her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children.
Mrs. Barnes kept up to date with the inventories for all convenient stores throughout the entire State. For many years, she owned and operated the Video Rack in Chapin, SC. After she retired from the Video Rack, Mrs. Barnes and her late husband owned and operated Anchor Realty.
She was a member of Chapin Community Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Chapin Community Church by the Rev. Jody Flowers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday at the church.
Memorials may be made to Chapin Community Church, PO Box 237, Chapin, SC 29036.
Pallbearers- Al Turner Jr., George Whitmore, Brock Johnston, Jennings Parker, Joshua Parker, Zachary Parker.
