Mr. Wallace Frank Hancock, age 75, beloved husband of 57 years to Mrs. Stella K. Hancock, entered into rest on Sunday March 8, 2026 at his home in Newberry, SC.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his three sons, Hayward (Cindy) Hancock, Charles Hancock, Tony (Amee) Hancock; eleven grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and a brother, Herman Hancock.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Carolyn Hancock.
Mr. Hancock worked as a supervisor and the Stevens Steam Plant for Avondale Mills in Graniteville but was affectionately known for being a great mechanic. He loved working on cars and helping people. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
A graveside funeral service honoring his life will be held on Friday March 20, 2026 at 2PM a Vaucluse Cemetery with Rev. John Leopard officiating. The family will greet friends just prior to the service at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Caleb Hancock, Joshua Hancock, Jeffrey Hooper, Clyde Stokes, Taylor Brown, Andrew Kegley and Jeremiah Hancock.
