Patsy Burrell Obituary
A native of Greer, daughter of the late Ensley Vernon and Opal Burnette Waddell, she was a retired employee of St. Francis Hospital and a member of First Baptist Greenville.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Arnold Burrell of the home; a son, Derren Burrell (Gloria) of Knoxville, Tennessee; a daughter, Keely B. Remedios (Rich) of Plymouth, Minnesota; a sister, Penny W. Hudgens of New Port Richey, Florida; and five grandchildren, Lydia, Luke, David, Rebekah, and Nathanael Burrell.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at First Baptist Greenville conducted by the Rev. Kyle Matthews.

Visitation will be held after the service in the narthex of the church.

I worked with Patsy for many years and she was one of the most dedicated and compassionate people I ever knew. She always had a smile on her face and was loved by everyone. Her loss is a tragedy for us on earth, but heaven has already improved.

So sorry to learn of sweet Patsy´s death. We graduated together in 1964. She was a wonderful friend ...our life paths took us in different directions. Only got to see her a few times since 1964. She was always a lovely lady with a great faith and a lady of prayer. She will indeed be missed by many!!

Patsy was a dear friend I graduated with in 1964. I have been blessed to be reacquainted with Patsy, in the last few years, at our monthly class luncheons. She was always so happy and made me feel so special! Patsy will truly be missed!! I am praying for Arnold and all the family.

Patsy and I graduated from Greer High School in 1964. She was a cheerleader and a very popular and sweet lady. Always smiling. She will be missed.
