Patsy Carnell, of Jonesboro, former longtime Blytheville resident, passed from this life Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Born in Pocahontas to the late Harrison and Pearl Poe Allen, she had lived most of her life in Blytheville and had moved to Jonesboro in 2019. Patsy was the widow of Mr. Talmage Carnell and had worked several years for the former S. H. Kress Company before joining the staff of Blytheville Public Schools as a paraprofessional. She had attended Wellspring Church in Blytheville and in recent years attended Central Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Dewell Allen (Bonita), Harrison Allen, Jr. (Daisy); a sister, Margie Williams (Charles), and a brother-in-law, Bill Sharp.
Survivors include,
A daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Wilson and Stan of Jonesboro
3 grandchildren, John Wilson III, Kayla Wilson (Jonathan Wooten), and Hayleigh Wilson Harris (Justin)
and 1 great-grandson, Korbin Harris.
She also leaves a brother Raymond Allen (Sheila) of Omaha, Nebraska
1 sister, Millie Sharp of North Little Rock
and her grand-fur babies.
Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville. Burial will follow in the Nettleton Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday from noon until service time at the funeral home. Friends may sign the online guest register at www.howardfuneralservice.com
