Patsy Ledbetter Holbrook

1943 - 2024

Patsy Ledbetter Holbrook, 80, of Cumming, GA passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Holbrook was born in Cumming, GA to the late Herbert Atwood Ledbetter and Mary Kathryn Holbrook Ledbetter. Patsy was a devoted member of New Harmony Baptist Church in Cumming, GA where she was instrumental in establishing the 1st church camp. She made the reservations, coordinated the logistics with the buses and ensured the camp went smooth for all involved. She had an active part in establishing and financing the fellowship hall at New Harmony as well. Patsy drove a school bus for Forsyth County for over 28 years. Mrs. Holbrook loved her family, especially the grandchildren. She had a special bond with each one of them. Patsy attended all their events through sports, horse shows, and activities with the church.

Patsy was preceded in death by her sister, Frances and Lamar Sexton, sister, Marsha and Hugh Elzey; brother Atwood Ledbetter; father and mother in-law Cecil and Lucille Holbrook, brother-in-law, James Daniel Holbrook.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Holbrook; sons and daughter in-laws, Jason and Cally Holbrook, Todd and Michelle Holbrook; grandchildren, Austin, Reece, Brady, Ella, Hunter, Gracen; brother, Doyle and Hellon Ledbetter, brother, Lewis and Barbara Ledbetter, sister in-law Lynda Ledbetter; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and beloved friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Pete Martin, Rev. Gerral Richards, and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm and Wednesday, from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040.
