Patsy Anderson Hunt, 78, returned home to her Heavenly Father on November 22, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 20, 1947, in Preston, Idaho, to Elvin "Pat" Anderson and Nora June Goodey, the third of their three children.
Patsy graduated from West Side High School and attended Ricks College before serving a full-time mission in Virginia and North Carolina for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After her mission, she moved to
Ogden, Utah, where she met the love of her life, Fred Hunt. They were married and sealed in the Ogden Utah Temple on July 23, 1977.
Patsy made her home in Plain City, Utah, where she and Fred raised their five children. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and receptionist at a doctor's office and was known for her dependability, friendliness, and care for the people she served.
A faithful disciple of Jesus Christ, Patsy served in many church callings throughout her life and spent 10 years involved with the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She found joy in simple moments-family gatherings, Sunday drives, time with her grandchildren, and watching The Price Is Right.
Patsy is survived by her husband, Fred Hunt, and their children: Jason (Sarah) Hunt, Dave (Megan) Hunt, Chris Hunt, Sara (Ben) Childs, and Jake (Liz) Hunt; her brother, Richard Anderson; her sister, Fayone Wood; and her 13 cherished grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin "Pat" Anderson and Nora June Goodey.
