Patsy Kimmel Isbell

Patsy Kimmel Isbell went home to be with her Lord on December 13, 2025, in Big
Spring, Texas.
Patsy spent most of her life in Gotebo, Oklahoma and Stinnett, Texas, where she built a
legacy of faith, love, and service. On December 19, 1960, she married the love of her
life Gipson "Gip" Isbell, and they raised 4 daughters and 2 sons, anchoring their family
in Christian values and steadfast devotion.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Leonard and Betty Kimmel,
Ola Bee Heller, Mary Shelby, Earl Kimmel, J.L. Kimmel, her husband Gip and her oldest
son Rickey Isbell.
She is survived by her children Kerrie Karins (husband Russell), Terrie Sale, Linda
Watson (husband Danny), Susan Yeater (husband Mike), Danny Isbell (wife Karissa).
She also leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Jason Isbell (wife Misty), Claire Gross
(husband Tanner), Judith Isbell, Matthew Karins (wife Mallory), Courtney Beatey
(husband Joey), Audrey Kreusel (husband Andrew), Robert Sale (wife Karlie), Jeremy
Watson, Justin "Juice" Watson (wife Ashley), Lauren Bratcher (husband Klint), Michael
Yeater (wife Kelsey), Kayla Trevino (husband Christian), Toby Isbell, Jake Denton, and
Emma Isbell.
Patsy was blessed with a large loving family and further survived by her Great
Grandchildren: Aubrey, Logan and Carley Isbell; Nyelli and Reyna Gross; Rylan and
Aiden Karins; Sebastien, Blake, Scout and Tex Beatey; Tyson, Emmitt, Hattie Kreusel;
Jayden, Madison, Maddox and Knox Sale; Creed and Chayil Watson; Colt and Cora
Watson; Kaden, Josiah, and Jude Bratcher; Stetson and Summit Yeater; Dean and
Stevie Trevino.
Patsy was also survived by many nieces, nephews and bonus Hutchinson County
children that she adopted all along the way. The door was never locked, and all were
welcome no matter the time of night.
A woman of deep abiding faith Patsy loved the Lord with all her heart. She was the glue
that held everyone together through prayer and devotion. Her love for others was
beautifully expressed in the quilts she lovingly made, covering those around her with
warmth, comfort and care. While sewing, she would be listening to a Halmark movie in
the background. She referred to the movies as "no bang, bang and no shame, shame."
She also had a lifelong love for the Oklahoma Sooners, faithfully cheering them on
whenever they played. She loved all sports, especially if her grandchildren/great grands
were involved. If she could not be there in person, Game Changer was there for the win.
Patsy was known for her Saturday check-ins. She always said, "No news is good news,"
but you better check in on Saturday when the family group chat went out, or you were
going to get a phone call.
Patsy's life was a testimony of faithfulness, service, and love. Her family finds comfort
in knowing she is now rejoicing in the presence of her Savior.
A graveside service will be held at Rocky Cemetery in Oklahoma with a date and time to
be announced.
