Mrs. Patsy Sue White Lester of Ringling, Oklahoma, left this world on April 15, 2025, at the age of 85. She was born on September 8, 1939, in Ringling to Allen Clay White and Marie (Mays) White.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 10 AM at the First Baptist Church of Ringling, with Reverend Mike Williams officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery, under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home.
Patsy, affectionately known as Pat, was a lifelong resident of Ringling and a proud graduate of Ringling High School. She began her career at an electronic factory in Gainesville, Texas, before taking on a role at the Carter County Courthouse. However, her true calling came when she married Harold W. Lester on August 16, 1973, in Marietta, transitioning into the role of a dedicated homemaker and rancher’s wife, devoted to her family and community. Pat was also a cherished member of the Rubottom Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Pam Ashley, a sister Darlene Smith, a brother Alan White, a son-in-law Mike Cox, a daughter-in-law Monica Lester, her grandson Chad Reed, and her great-grandchild Jurnei Berry.
Pat leaves behind her beloved husband Harold Lester, her daughters Cindy Lambert and husband Steve of San Angelo, Texas, and Vicki Cox of Ringling, as well as her sons Mike Lester and wife Marilyn of Courtney, and Kurt Lester and wife Jill of Ardmore. She is also survived by her twin sister Wanda Davis and husband Bud of Wichita Falls, Texas, son-in-law Brian Ashley of Lady Lake, Florida, grandchildren Taylor Rohr, Tyler Hill, Garrett Lambert, Shelly Trubenbach and husband Richard, Shane Cox and wife Johna, Candace Rich and husband Brandon, Branon Lester and wife Summer, and Josh Lester. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren Brynlee, Ryan, and Atlee Rohr, River Stewart, Lane and Ty Trubenbach, Halston and Karagan Cox, Lexi, Kelsie, Colt, and JJ Lester, Cruise, Jacobi and wife Rylee, Jordan, and Legend Berry, as well as Flossie Lester and her great great-grandchildren Max and Kylo Stewart. Aden, Crue and Rockie Berry. Additionally, she is survived by sisters-in-law Betty Smith and Donnie Hibbs, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will forever cherish her memory.
Casket bearers for Pat’s service include Branon Lester, Shane Cox, Josh Lester, Clint Smith, Cliff Smith, and Richard Trubenbach. Honorary bearers are Cindy and Steve Lambert.
Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Friday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.
Pat will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her spirit and warmth will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
