Obituary
Karen Evelyn Edmondson, of Oxford, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at the age of 61. Mrs. Edmondson graduated from Stockbridge High School and retired from JCPenney as a Data Entry Clerk where she worked for many years. She loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother and enjoyed preparing delicious meals for her family. Mrs. Edmondson liked traveling to the beach and mountains and loved her animals and birds dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Milton Standridge; and brothers, Allen Standridge, Mike Standridge.
Survivors include her loving husband of 38 years, Jimmy Edmondson; son, Jeremy Edmondson (Amber); grandchildren, Paisley Bryson, RyLeigh Bryson, James Edmondson, Willow Edmondson; mother, Shirley Standridge; and brother, Gary Standridge.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Edmondson Tuesday, May 2, 2023, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Tandy Mayo officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Monday, May 1, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
