Patsy Sue Loyd

Pearcy - Patsy Sue Loyd, age 87, of Pearcy, died on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
She was born on April 16, 1938, in Dumas, Arkansas. She was the youngest child of Linnie and Earl Brooks. She married Bill Loyd on January 12, 1962 and was married to him for 49 years until his death in 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters Virginia, Betty, and Joan, and two brothers Bud and Gary.
Sue was baptized at a young age at Park Place Baptist Church in Hot Springs. She graduated in 1956 from Hot Springs High School and was the office manager at Fraser Sales Company for over 25 years.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Leann Massanelli of Hot Springs, two grandchildren, Trevor Massanelli (Paige) of McKinney, Texas, and Lauren Hatcher (Tyler) of El Dorado, Arkansas, 3 great-grandchildren, Harper Sinclair, Averie Hatcher, and Blakely Massanelli, and her faithful Yorkie Lulu, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of special neighbors and friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 5pm-7pm at Caruth-Hale Life Celebration
Center, 2529 Airport Road, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Services will also be at the same location on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 2pm with Pastor Greg Cultra and grand-nephew Hunter Lively presiding. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2868 Airport Road, Hot Springs, Arkansas, following the services.
Sue requested that anyone attending her visitation to please wear Razorback red in honor of her beloved Hogs.
The family would like to thank Elite Hospice of Hot Springs, her neighbors Rick and Sandy Milholen, and Sue's many doctors and nurses during these recent months.
Pallbearers will be Trevor Massanelli, Hunter Lively, Greg Cultra, Carlton Scott, Johnny Scott, and Ronny Scott.
Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Meggers, Larry Leckner, Paul Leckner, Rick Rice, and Rick Mitlholen.
