Patricia Ann "Patsy" Minto, a beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Friend, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025 at the golden age of 85 years old.
Born on May 27, 1939 in the small but vibrant city of Chippewa Falls, WI. Patsy lived a life filled with love, laughter, ups, downs and most importantly unforgettable moments that touched the hearts of all who knew her. Despite the profound losses and struggles she endured she remained a beacon of resilience and strength always offering her love and support selflessly for those who remained.
Those who knew Patsy will likely remember her most as a bartender. Residing in Eau Claire for most of her life. Patsy could often be found where the tunes were lively and laughter was loudest at Mr. A's Place. Her place behind the bar was not just a job. It was where her quick witted humor and infectious laugh could truly shine. She had an uncanny way of brightening any room and lightning people's moods. Then there were the crazy, hilarious, and way too often times Patsy's sister and bestie, Barb and her were in the same room together. Patsy became a cherished figure in the local live music scene. She had a passion for live music and could be found seated to the right of her husband Billy Pickert who was always on a stage somewhere. She cultivated a welcome environment where everyone felt like family. Patsy had a deep love for cooking and took great joy in preparing meals for those around her. You probably couldn't spend more than 5 minutes in the room and she'd ask, "are you hungry?". A fan of scary movies, she appreciated the thrill of a good suspenseful story. Above all she loved listening to her favorite music that consisted of classic country and 50/60's Sock Hop style classic rock and roll. The one thing that topped the list was her love and pride for her granddaughter Hannah.
As an amazing mother, grandmother and aunt her family really meant everything to her. She instilled the values of kindness, humor, respect, hard work, cleanliness and the importance of cherishing moments together and creating memories to be chuckled at later instead of arguing and regrets.
She is survived by her son Dustin Pickert, daughter Sally Hanson, granddaughter Hannah Pickert, brother Charles Fredrickson, sister Carol Vacca and sister Sandra Findlay,
She is preceded in death by her father Donald Fredrickson, mother Maurita Fredrickson (Thornton), daughter Roxanne Clark, Son Stevie Clark, and Sister Barbara Jennings.
Patsy was married to Dick Clark, Billy Pickert and Ken Minto, each relationship adding a new chapter to her colorful story and voyage.
In honoring Patsy's life, we invite you to celebrate her legacy. A service/memorial will be held at a later date to be announced by the family. Cards and flowers may be sent to 1702 Omaha Street, Eau Claire, WI 54703. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Buswell Funeral Home service fund, 106 S. 2nd Street,

Patsy's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May her laughter and quick witted comebacks and mannerisms continue to echo in the lives she touched. To all that had the privilege of knowing her, thank you very much for being part of her journey and all you may have done for her.
